Just returned home from my sister’s last night. I went there to have Thanksgiving with her family.
Have to head back to work tomorrow, it’s the 2-week count down! What a relief!
However, now I have the stress of the “Unknown” - finding a job, possibly moving (where is unknown), and a myriad of other tasks. - I can do it!
Today is going to be productive, for sure, and I'll post a picture of something that I create by EOD. Now... I just need to find my camera and its charger, add that task to my list!

Creative Outlet
This will be fun! : )
I just resigned from my contract corporate job two days ago.
Reason: I don't feel design should be "template driven" or that I should have to use Universe Std. Condensed with a -20 tracking on EVERY piece I produce. Sure, at times you have to follow pre-existing standards to build the strength of a brand, but I have too many creative juices flowing to be fulfilled by performance curves and 50% opacity drop shadows - I need variety, need to mix it up!!
I've been looking toward my "crafty side" as an outlet for built-up creative energy. I like to sew, cook, craft (in the general sense) and of course - design!
I'll try to post something everyday, whether it be something that inspires me, something I'm creating or just the highlight of my day. This will be a place for positivity and inspiration. And, since I just resigned, I will record my journey from unemployment to happiness. : )
